The 28th IARS event was held in Lincoln, England, in September 2024.

The theme of this Symposium was 'Recruitment and Retention of Reservists'.

During the Symposium, delegates were invited to attend the International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln as well as a tour of the Royal Air Force College Cranwell, the world's first air academy.​​​
